A straight smile is certainly beautiful, but having properly aligned teeth goes much further than appearances alone. Overlapping, crowded and unevenly spaced teeth are subject to oral health issues such as gum disease, decay and an uneven bite (malocclusion).
Adult Orthodontics
Choosing to straighten your smile may be because you never had a chance for orthodontic treatment as a youth, or because you were not diligent about wearing your retainer and have relapsed.

How Clear Aligners Work
Rather than metal or ceramic brackets and an adjustable wire, Clear Aligners rely on a series of clear, plastic aligners to gradually align teeth. Each set of aligners will nudge teeth closer to their ideal position.

Getting Started with Clear Aligners
If you are a good candidate for clear braces, Dr Rollason will begin by taking x-rays and moulds of the teeth to forward to our Invisalign laboratory. When we receive your first series of aligners, we will have a fitting appointment and go over the instructions for use. In some cases, small tooth-coloured attachments will be placed on the teeth to assist with efficient movement.

- Wear aligners for at least 22 hours per day
- Clean teeth after eating, before replacing aligners
- Keep aligners clean using non-abrasive cleansers
- Avoid hot water and drinks
- Protect aligners from pets and kids
- Wear each set of aligners for about two weeks before switching to the next set

Dr Paul Rollason BDSc (Hons) QLD
Principal Dentist…
Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr Paul Rollason knew he wanted to be a dentist in grade six when he met and grew to admire his orthodontist. The idea of working with families and being hands-on with patients appealed to both his personal connection with people and his interest in dental science.
He was told in grade seven that he wouldn’t be good enough, but he has never been one to turn away from a challenge. He set about finding ways to get what he wanted. He enjoys using his hands
Dr Ashleigh Jit Mungur BDS
Dentist
Originally from the UK, Dr Ashleigh Jit Mungur made the move to Australia in 2025 and settled in Brisbane at the start of the year. He has enjoyed embracing the Queensland lifestyle and all that Brisbane has to offer, from its great food and outdoor activities to exploring local attractions like Australia Zoo.
Dr Ashleigh graduated from Barts & The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2021 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Since then, he has gained experience working in general dental practice, in a hospital-based Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department, and currently also works in a TMJ clinic.
