Absolute Dental Care have been selected to be a part of a trial for a new analgesic system that utilizes targeted light technology to temporarily disrupt nerve pathways during dental procedures. This innovative approach allows us to achieve effective analgesia in the teeth and gums, potentially eliminating the need for traditional local anesthetic.
Absolute Dental Care went through the selection process with the University of Queensland to be a part of this trial and we are excited to be a part of it and also interested to see the impact that the Nuralyte will have on the dental industry and in the comfort of the patients.
For our patients wondering, this is a voluntary trial. If you meet the criteria Dr Paul and Kara will discuss all aspects of the trial and what it entails with you and then will also gain your consent.
The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of the Nuralyte verses traditional anesthetic for different procedures, and to help reduce the anxiety of coming to a dentist by association. It will also work to support the substantial research indicating that the photobiomodualtion is suitable for use in a range of clinical applications, such as acceleration of wound healing, restoring normal nerve function and reducing pain.
